Reversible Fabric Baskets

I love the size of these reversible fabric baskets! At the base they are approximately 3.5" square and 4.5" tall.

The baskets on the left are linen blend fabrics.

"Dos-A-Dos" Mini Handmade Book

I was inspired to create this mini 'dos-a-dos' book after watching a tutorial here on Jerri Bellini's YouTube channel.

I love the way this little book turned out! Finished it measures 4" x 4". A fun little handy size to throw in your purse.

Each signature of the book (total of 6 signatures) consists of 4 pages, which doubles to 8 when folded, and both sides of the paper are a total of 48 pages.
Black cardstock served as the base of my cover. I then covered it with textured handmade paper from Nepal called 'Batik Sq Black & White and Batik Sq Ivory & Beige'.  For the tie closure I used torn batik fabric.

The pages are handmade printable Natural Lokta papers. I bound the book with waxed linen thread using a 3-hole pamphlet stitch.

Fabric Vessels

These are additional fabric vessel organizers I sewed following the same tutorial from the Ozachan channel here. (She demonstrates another technique here.) I used her specific dimensions and my finished baskets measure 3"W x 4"H. Base approx. 2.5" square.

I purchased my fabrics from kimonomomo on Etsy. These are Japanese Cotton Dobby fabrics that have a subtle texture similar to barkcloth.

All are reversible too!

Fabric Vessel / Reversible Organizer

This is a fabric vessel/organizer I sewed using a jelly roll collection called the Waterlilly Pond Collection from the Tinyspool & Co Store for the exterior and the interior was just a fabric from my stash of fat quarters. The exterior pieces were cut into 2.5" squares and then layered by overlapping pieces onto my fusible stabilizer.

I used a medium weight fusible stabilizer on both exterior and lining. I did some sashiko stitching on both pieces of fabric. I then assembled my basket by following the tutorial here on the Ozachan channel. I altered my fabric dimensions slightly. My basket measures 4"W x 5"H. Base approx. size 3" square.

 Also Reversible!

Abstract Mini Notebooks

I bound these mini notebooks with a 3-hole pamphlet stitch using assorted papers.

The covers were made using a manilla folder base. I arranged a variety of digital designs onto a blank 8.5 x 11 page in adobe photoshop and printed these onto laser inkjet matte clear full sheet labels. I then adhered these full sheet labels onto the manilla folder base and cut my covers to a variety of sizes. The notebooks range in sizes 2", 2.5" and 3" square.

The Abstract, Boho, and Bauhaus digital designs I purchased from DesignByAhn and
BloomCraftStudio on Etsy.

I enjoyed making these mini abstract notebooks and made a ton of them!

Earth Day 2025

The Lake Isle of Innisfree

By WILLIAM BUTLER YEATS
I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;
Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade.

And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight’s all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet’s wings.

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart’s core.
