Some fabrics I used were cotton linen blends from the Robert Kaufman collections Quarry Trail and Around The Bend. I used cotton fabrics for the lining. Folded they measure 6 inches wide by 5 inches high. Open they stand at 8 inches tall.

Fabric Foldover Pouches
I couldn't make just one!
Zinnias
Vibrant, gorgeous color! Such a sweet looking flower especially when grouped with only two or three in a pot. The plant embodies simplicity. A precious little flower.
Single Petal Potted Zinnias...
say that fast 3 times! :)
Make A Double Wish!
Make a double wish! Or share it with a friend...like a wishbone except you both get your wish! Don't forget, for the magic to be at its best you must blow all the seeds off with one breath!

Toadshade Trillium
Japanese Stab Bookbinding
I crafted this book using a method called Japanese Stab Binding. Many different binding patterns exist but I made this one with a basic three-hole binding. It’s a simple and beautiful technique.
I used cork fabric for the cover which kept it flexible. I bound it with natural hemp cord. The papers I used were handmade natural Lokta papers suitable for pen and ink. It measures 5.5 inches x 5.5 inches
It’s a relatively simple method especially since the sewing is done along the edge of the book rather than on the folded spine. This method allows you to compile separate sheets of paper into one bound volume. A very simple non-adhesive binding with very few tools needed.
