Vintage USA Brown Pottery

I love these few pieces of chocolate glazed brown stoneware that I've had for years. Collectors referred to the color as Warm Colorado Brown.

The ribbed beehive design pitcher and bowl are  Western Stoneware, probably 1930's. Both marked USA with a maple leaf. The stein and bowl are referred to as Daisy and Dot Dinnerware design by Mar-crest, probably circa 1950's and 60's.

Gets confusing with all the different pottery manufacturers, they were constantly merging. Here is an informative site about Mar-crest Stoneware.  and a bit of Western Stoneware History here.
