Heart Zipper Pouches

I've created several lined Heart Zip Pouches. Sizes are 4.5", 5" and 6". I used jelly roll strips of cotton fabric named 'Waterlilly Pond' from Tinyspool & Co. along with a cotton fabric from a wildflower fat quarter bundle from my stash.

I followed a tutorial from Sweet Cinnamon Roses to make one, but while finishing my pouch, I noticed her technique results in raw edges on the lining. Later, I came across Pookpik Craft, where her tutorial demonstrates a method to sew the lining without leaving any raw edges.

I appreciated that they both quilted their fabric prior to assembling their pouches. I'll have to give that a try!
