Tilda Fabric Flex Frame Pouches

I sewed these flex frame pouches using Tilda fabric for the exterior and lining of the pouch. I used 3.94 inch metal flex bands for the 'snap' mechanism which inserts into the casing that is created when sewing.

The finished size is approximately 4 x 4.5 inches. 

I was inspired to sew these after seeing a simple technique that is demonstrated on 'upacoHM' to create these pouches.

Colorful Notepad List Folios

Used Echo Park Scrapbook Papers to mat the base of the folios that are 110lb/300gsm heavy kraft cardstock.

Included in each:  Pen holder with pen, removable notepads with full magnetic backs and colorful mini binder clips to hold additional papers for notes.

Page Holders ~ Bookmarks

Another simple project that makes a sweet gift.

These corner page markers or if you prefer page holders or corner bookmarks measured 31/2 inches square when finished.

To make these fabric book corners you only need 3 pieces of 4 inch square fabric and 3 pieces of fusible interfacing ironed onto each piece. You fold one and press at a diagonal (the tuck pocket for the page). Stack the other two pieces with wrong sides together and the folded piece on top. Stitch a 1/4 inch seam all around, then trim all around with your pinking shears and you’re done!

You can follow a tutorial here at Little Hill Craft Co. where she demonstrates two ways to sew these; one with a finished edge and one finishing the edge with pinking shears. You can also add a little quilting to your piece. She used cotton batting, I opted for the fusible interfacing on all three pieces which gave me a cleaner cut when using the pinking shears.

Refillable Desk Jotter

Had Chicago screw posts left over from a previous leather craft project and decided to use them to make this handy refillable desk jotter. There are 80 perforated sheets that measure 4 x 5 inches when torn from the pad and are lined front and back. Below are the materials I used to make this desk jotter.

- Chipboard covered with 'Peaceful Meadows' (PunchStudio)  textured cardstock 

 - Lined Note Paper measuring 4 x 6 inches

 - Chicago bronze screw posts 5mm x 15mm

- Crop-A-Dile Big Bite to punch holes 

- eCraft 4-in1 Paper Trimmer (also perforates!) & HFS Heavy Duty Guillotine Paper Cutter 

- Double-sided tape, ELMER"S  craftbond quick dry glue
