This is a fabric vessel/organizer I sewed using a jelly roll collection called the Waterlilly Pond Collection from the Tinyspool & Co Store for the exterior and the interior was just a fabric from my stash of fat quarters. The exterior pieces were cut into 2.5" squares and then layered by overlapping pieces onto my fusible stabilizer.
I used a medium weight fusible stabilizer on both exterior and lining. I did some sashiko stitching on both pieces of fabric. I then assembled my basket by following the tutorial here on the Ozachan channel. I altered my fabric dimensions slightly. My basket measures 4"W x 5"H. Base approx. size 3" square.
I bound these mini notebooks with a 3-hole pamphlet stitch using assorted papers.
The covers were made using a manilla folder base. I arranged a variety of digital designs onto a blank 8.5 x 11 page in adobe photoshop and printed these onto laser inkjet matte clear full sheet labels. I then adhered these full sheet labels onto the manilla folder base and cut my covers to a variety of sizes. The notebooks range in sizes 2", 2.5" and 3" square.
The Abstract, Boho, and Bauhaus digital designs I purchased from DesignByAhn and
BloomCraftStudio on Etsy.
I enjoyed making these mini abstract notebooks and made a ton of them!
I sewed this mini pouch using Zen Chic Fabric (Frisky Collection) by Moda. Has two interior pockets, one which has a handy zipper compartment. It has a snap for the outer closure.
Closed, it's approximately 4.25"W x 4"H. Handy size also holds business cards and credit cards.
I've been making zines! I've never made any before, but I was inspired by Katie Gebely and her colorful, abstract zines over at Collage, Zines & Art Journals.

I made the majority of mine using 8.5 x 11 inch Neenah Bright White Premium cardstock paper as the base. Folded, creates an 8 page booklet & measures 3"W x 4.5"H.
I created them using text, images and a variety of art pens by POSCA, Artify and Artistro. I used bold jumbo acrylic markers, metallics, watercolor brush tip pens and dual tip alcohol markers. Even made a few minis!
It's a fun creative project! I absolutely loved making them and couldn't stop!! Try it!
Here's a short video with some flip thoughs below...

I used a linen blend fabric by Anna Graham (Around The Bend Collection) for the exterior and a cotton fabric for the lining on these front zip coin pouches. The finished size is 4.5 inch square.
Handy for your bills, coins, keys or even a mini notepad!
