These are a Nordic Cuff Bracelet, Coil Bracelet and a 4-Coil Brass Brushed Arm Bracelet.
I love these! They were hand forged by my Sweetie at his QuailHollowForge.
Don't you love them?!!
Or if you prefer, grasshoppers or bush crickets and your good ole slimy slugs.
Not certain about the brown cap mushroom...maybe a Common Stump Brittlestem aka Psathyrella Piluliformis??
I painted my first little rustic tiny house :) Rough and simple but sweet and charming, measuring at 4 inches high and 2 inches wide.
Who wouldn't love to find a cafe in the woods!
I submitted several of my hand crafted items to be juried at SNC Gallery and was very pleased when they accepted my work to be displayed in the Gallery. The Gallery accepts many types of art which also now includes fine craft or folk art. The SNC Gallery’s purpose is to highlight local artists, provide them an opportunity to display and sell their art and support the overall purpose of the Sautee Nacoochee Center.
| My sold items! |
Even before it was entered into inventory, my Sashiko Boro Card Wallet sold! Within weeks, my two Sea Shell Journals sold as well! I was very pleased to say the least!
My items are displayed on the top of the wooden glass case in the photo below on the left. (The two round wooden bowls belong to another artist) The hand forged iron work that you see in the case below is the art work of my husband, Dana. The photo on the right is a separate glass case where you'll find a few more of my fiber crafts on display.
This was a Tote Bag I sewed and gifted to a friend. I used fabric from Amy Butler's Midwest Modern Collection (now discontinued) accented with brown fabric and created with the Simplicity 2551 Pattern. The "C" bag pattern was used, featuring interior pockets, and the finished dimensions were 10"H x 12"W. The pattern I used is similar to her 'Birdie Sling' and 'Frenchy Bag' patterns.
Amy Butler continues to design beautiful fabrics, clothing and accessories. Checkout her site and her free online magazine Blossom for inspiration!
Another fun project. Created this Botanical Flippy Journal using the similar format I used to create my Flippy Junk Journal but instead in a botanical theme.
Dimensions are 4"W x 5.5"H and spine is 1" thick.
Lots of flips, flaps and bits and bobs!
I've created a video of the flip through below, enjoy!
The box is approximately 4.5"W x 5"L x 2"D
The flip top lid box is a pefect size to accomodate my mini Dos-A-Dos handmade journal.
You can see images and a short video flip through of my Dos-A-Dos mini journal in a previous post here.
It’s National Golden Retriever Day 💛 So Goldie decided it was only right to speak on behalf of Golden Retrievers everywhere.
